This is wrong on several points. First, to have a homosexual Episcopalian minister goes against several biblical verses, including Romans 1. To pray to make someone into something they may not means that we can control people's outcome through simple prayer. If that were the case, pray that everyone would stop sinning. There! The world is perfect now. That does not work.

To have people pray for such an outcome, which the Bible declares is not only a sin but an abomination (Leviticus 20:13), is no different than praying for anyone to choose sin. So, when people think there is nothing wrong with the homosexual lifestyle, when people think there is nothing wrong with making such members of a church, when people think there is nothing wrong with making such a minister, think again. This request is not the gospel. This request goes against what God states in His Word. This request is a focus on a distracting matter that should never have ever been a thought.
