Ephesians 5:27 says, "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." So, how can Christianity lower the standards and yet achieve the end result of being a church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish? It cannot. Therefore, it cannot be of God but of the world instead to lower the standards.
