Genesis 3:5 says, "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." Now if humans can create humans outside of the intended means of husband and wife, we have taken one more step to trying to be like God, not in character, but in ability, which is what Satan try to obtain: "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High" (Isaiah 14:14).
