COMMENT: "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away" (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
Wow! What a lame excuse to have an abortion. "I didn't want my child to feel like it was a burden." Then give the child up for adoption! If you weren't financially able to handle it, then you should have been more responsible. But to murder a life over such a lame excuse is something serious repentance needs to happen with.
But there's even a greater repentance that needs to happen. Faith does not change. One's relationship with God can get closer and closer or further and further, like this person. But overall, God says, "I [am] the LORD, I change not" (Malachi 3:6). It is people an society that try to spin God's Word to suit the desires.
Like others, this minister is no minister of God. It's all a form of being godly but they are denying the power to live in complete obedience. They are a minister of the worldly ways. This is the result of believing the commandments are no longer binding, been nailed to the cross, have been changed.
