Study finds sweetened drink consumption may be linked to atrial fibrillation

Article Date - 03/05/2024

COMMENT: Even the Bible states that a person should not consume too much in sweeteners: "[It is] not good to eat much honey" (Proverbs 25:27). In this case, a mere 67 fluid ounces per week of drinks containing artificial sugars or actual added sugars contributed to the risk of atrial fibrillation by 20% while natural sugar drinks like natural sweetened drinks "such as 100% orange or vegetable juice" actually reduced the risk by a mere 8% but still, it was a reduction.
