Malachi 3:8 states, "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings." And then people think they are free to waste the rest of their money as they desired. Many do not even pay tithe and offering and therefore they think all the money the have is theirs to spend as they will. "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season?" (Luke 12:42).
