"I'm sure that I've eaten 10,000 hot dogs since the beginning of my career," Kobayashi said in the film. This is the modern day version of sacrificing one's body for what? "Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible" (1 Corinthians 9:25). There is no surprise to the results of his actions. Many may not be in a visible contest where their is temporary recognition, but many are still willing to sacrifice themselves to obtain it. That is sad.
