"But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it" (Luke 11:28). That is what Jesus said. So carrying it around and reading it is NOT good enough. We must KEEP IT too. And for all the Catholics in the world, if you think you keep it, you don't. I know as a former Catholic. And to the vast majority of Protestants, if you think you keep it, you don't. I know because even the Catholic Church taunts Protestants on certain subjects that Protestants follow yet there is no scripture for it. The biggest one is Sunday sacredness. The Catholic Church instituted it by the self claimed power to be able to change the commandments. Even Lent is not a practice of the Bible but an institution of the Catholic Church. Easter and Christmas are additional sciptureless practices or dates as Christ was crucified on Passover, which does not always coincide with Easter weekend.
