Matthew 24:7 says, "There shall be ... pestilences .,. in divers places." This verse coupled with "But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark," (Matthew 24:37-38), where the marrying and giving in marriage is a reference to swapping partners at will, explains the pestilence of sexually transmitted diseases being at all time highs.

Focusing upon marrying and giving in marriage is not about the divorce rate being high. That is a failed statistics, but when one recognizes marriage is as described in Genesis 24:67, where "Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife", we see sexual encounters like this are considered marriage in God's eyes. And up through the 1950's, free sexual encounters was considered horrible and sinful. Now even Christians engage in the third date sex expectation while supposedly dating. So since the 1960's the Noe or Noah reference has been fulfilled through free sex.
