Loneliness poses risks as deadly as smoking, surgeon general warns

This article is a bit misleading for just about every adult has experienced loneliness at some point in their life, and with the simple question of "Have you every felt lonely?" being asked, no wonder over half of the respondents have answered "Yes". Despite a room full of people, anyone experiencing a death in the family will feel lonely, as if no one understands. So, despite the potentially bad science behind this announcement, there is a solution. If this survey is showing that loneliness has increased over the years, then it probably has a connection with the fact that religious practice is down. In other words, by removing God from society, loneliness will increase, but with God in one's life, loneliness should decrease. And just going to church or even declaring that a person has regular Bible reading time through the week is not the same as actually having God in their lives. Jesus said, "I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever" (John 14:16). So, is the Comforter in your life?
