Luke 17:2, rightly understood, is quite fitting for State Farm. "It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." This is not about hurting feelings. Anything that stands between a child's relationship with Jesus causing that child to question, to separate, to be offended to be a Christian and hold Christian values is the proper understanding. And clearly State Farm is actively placing themselves in the offender position. All employees supporting this program, let alone participate it the distribution of the literature will see the consequence of their actions for in God's eyes, it were better that they would go drown themselves tied to a millstone to sink to the bottom of the sea.
