Boston-area school board blocked church’s private school due to Christian beliefs, lawyers claim

The first amendment states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..." Evidently the schoolboard declared that they are not "congress", therefore, they can prevent the free exercise of religion. It used to be understood that all forms of government would adhere to the first amendment even if they were not "Congress", but with the latest attempts at pushing Christianity out, the respect has changed. "Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith" (2 Timothy 3:8).
