And this is how "all the world wondered after the beast" (Revelation 13:3) and will be so willing to go along with "no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" (Revelation 13:17) and even turn in those so "as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed" (Revelation 13:15). The beast, the false prophet, and the Mark would have no power if the people would not be giving them the power.
