In the establishment of Williamsburg back in the late 1600's, the focus was not upon relationships. The focus was in establishing the colony. That is what has been taught and should be taught. This is yet another distraction away from simple historical lessons and moving into unnecessary political content being another step to make prominent that has such a minor aspect. That is what is meant by "feet that be swift in running to mischief" (Proverbs 6:18).
