Some dogs are very obedient, while others...well, they'll give you straight-up attitude. Like Pomeranians. They're sort of known for having lots of spunk and personality. You just don't want to mess with them when they're feeling feisty, as one woman quickly discovered.

Things quickly got sassy when Lola's owner simply asked her to wipe her feet before coming inside.


The pet owner said it nicely too. As the video she shared shows, the Pomeranian was heading towards the front door when the dog mom kindly asked her to "wipe your feet."

Lola did oblige her mom, but she really seemed to over-exaggerate the movements. At one point she even looked back as if to say, "See! I did it! God!"

"For people that say dogs are not like children, how do you explain this attitude I was just served after asking my dog to wipe her feet?" she wrote in the onscreen caption. "The queen of sass," she joked in the caption.

People in the comments section read Lola's message loud and clear. "She literally went 'hmph!'" joked one commenter. "Is that clean enough for you, Martha?" someone else teased. "She said 'DON'T tell me what I already know,'" joked another person. "The entire time she was definitely cursing you out," one commenter agreed.

Pomeranian Personalities
Poms aren't all sass and attitude. In fact, there's a reason why Poms are a beloved breed. These dogs are very personable and are known for their perky and friendly personalities.


It's only when they're feeling feisty that Poms get the reputation for being snappy. It's almost like they don't realize that they're small dogs because they don't back down when they feel threatened. They might even take on a dog much larger than them. But don't let that dissuade you from the breed. In general, they do get along with other animals. But pet owners should always be wary when mixing a toy breed with a larger dog breed in case of accidental injuries.


There is a real upside to a Pomeranian's energetic personality. Poms are alert, intelligent dogs and make excellent watch dogs. They have a strong bark instinct and will bark loudly when they spy a threat. This is also why they make good pets for older pet owners — their energy and small size make them perfect companions.

They can be good family dogs, but need to be raised with children to feel comfortable with youngsters. Otherwise they can be a little reserved.


Just don't ask them to wipe their feet or mind their manners — it seems that they don't like that one bit.
