Interfaith coalition denounces HB2 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church
An interfaith coalition involving more than 400 clergy opposed to House Bill 2 held a news conference Thursday morning at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in uptown Charlotte.The coalition -- 100 or so clergy from North Carolina and allies from liberal houses of worship around the country -- has released a letter that attacks HB2 for flouting the Golden Rule and for keeping N.C. localities from solving problems such as discriminination.
