When Jesus said, "nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom" (Matthew 24:7) that was not referring only to nations and kingdoms going at each other because prior to this verse, Jesus said, "ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars" (Matthew 24:6). So nation rising against nation can also be that the people of one's own nation shall rise up against their own nation. And not only in the United States are we experiencing this, it's happening more and more in other countries as well.
