It all depends upon the testing of things. If correct answers on a test tend to atheistic answers, of course many religious will not answer correctly. If it is based upon grades of students overall in school, again, true religious people are not cut throat and trying to aspire to be the greatest in their field or in their class, and do consider that many religious people home school and are proven to be smarter than most public school students and are not factored into grading systems.
True religious are more content as well. We do not need the executive position when a lower level position provides for all of our needs. This is not to say Christians cannot, but in general, we are not going to see many scientists from the religious community as most positions are biased against religious groups, a litmus test of believing in evolution basically.
